::DISCLAIMER::
PARTIAL MIXAMO COMPATABILITY:
If you wish to use mixamo animations, It is highly recommended to rig the provided non-rigged models using the mixamo auto rigger (for greater flexibility & control) as opposed to the pre-rigged models.
Since mixamo is primarily for humanoid models, These models are not 100% compatabile with mixamo. This means that-
1. A particular mixamo animation may work better with one model as compared to another. (or may not work at all)
2. Mesh deformity/tearing may occur with some animations. Again, this is on a per-model basis.
On a general note, The best way to make use of mixamo animations is to treat them as base animations and make adjustments accordingly.
However, Do not expect them to fully function as expected due to the above mentioned points.
