Overview

This shader is essentially a simple, easy-to-set-up system for animating planes with a texture. The package includes four different materials designed for various purposes and optimization needs:

  • 1 Unlit material without transparency
  • 1 Unlit material with transparency
  • 1 Lit material without transparency
  • 1 Lit material with transparency

All these materials use the same sine-wave animation system, but you can choose between them depending on what your asset requires, whether it’s something lightweight and simple (unlit) or something more advanced with dynamic lighting (lit).


Each material also includes a clamp system, which allows you to keep part of the plane from being affected by the sine-wave motion. This is useful for creating effects such as a flag or grass, where one side of the plane must remain attached to something solid (like a flagpole or the ground).


This Sine Wave System includes three different parameters:

  • Sine Wave Speed
  • Sine Wave Frequency
  • Sine Wave Amplitude
