Note: This asset is intended for use by projection engineers. If you are after a projection effect for your Unity game, see our other asset Projector Simulator.
Projectors
Includes tool to create projector definitions including chassis size, lens characteristics, and metadata. Save projector definitions as files for use in other projects.
Screens
Generate flat, cylindrical, conical, spherical, or CAVE screens - or use your own 3d models. Front and rear-projection is supported.
Analysis
Analyse expected resolution or luminance values from any eyepoint location. Analysis results appear as heatmaps on screen surfaces. You can inspect the value at any point on the screen.
Eyepoints
Generate equirectangular or Aitoff images from any eyepoint's perspective.
Content Visualisation
Project any 2D image, RenderTexture, or video. Use the Projection Mapping feature to simulate warping content to screen surfaces - even continuously over multiple projectors.
Cable Routing
Plan cable routes and see the exact lengths required.
Organisation
Create projector groups using Unity's hierarchy. Edit whole groups by selecting the parent.
Generate Reports
Output all information to a CSV file, which can be shared or opened in a spreadsheet application for further formatting.
Design Wizard
Use the Design Wizard to rapidly design projection systems for flat and cylindrical screens.
Orthographic Rendering
Render orthographic images with a 1m grid overlay.
Optical Tracking Volume Analysis
Place tracking cameras and visualise the expected tracking quality of the volume with a 3D heatmap. Intended for VR / Virtual Production planning.
SKP Export
Export your designs to SKP format to carry out further CAD work (Windows x64 only)
Optimised and Robust
Projector Simulator Pro is based upon the proven technology of Projector Simulator. The Shader-based implementation allows the smooth editing of multiple projectors simultaneously.
HDRP is now supported. URP is not. If you need a projection effect for URP, please see Projector Simulator (link above).
If you have any questions, please get in touch on the forum thread or via email.
