Overview

MINIMO Starter Pack is a free Unity character package designed for stylized character customization, third-person movement testing, and fast gameplay prototyping.

The package includes one free MINIMO character, a Character Editor scene, a Playground demo scene, and a ready-to-test third-person controller. The provided character is customizable through the included editor, where users can change available modular parts, edit colors, randomize variations, and save customized characters as reusable prefabs.

MINIMO Starter Pack is suitable for platformer, adventure, casual, puzzle, co-op, family-friendly, and prototype projects. It is also useful for developers who want to test the MINIMO workflow before expanding their project with additional MINIMO character packs.

🛠 How It Works

• Import the package, open the Character Editor to customize the included character, save your result as a prefab, then test it in the Playground scene with the included controller.
• The Starter Pack is designed as the entry point to the MINIMO collection and can be expanded with additional MINIMO character packs.

🎨 Customizable Content

The included character can be customized with the Character Editor.

Users can:

• Change available modular parts
• Edit material colors
• Use preset colors and custom color tools
• Randomize character variations
• Save customized characters as prefabs
• Reuse saved characters in their own scenes

The Starter Pack character uses the available free modular content. Hair and Props are not included in the free Starter Pack character.

🕹 Third-Person Controller

• The included controller supports common platformer and adventure actions such as walking, sprinting, jumping, double jump, dash, roll, crouch, slide, wall jump, ledge hang, ground pound, moving platforms, and jumping platforms.
• It can be used as a demo controller, customized for your project, or replaced with your own gameplay system.

💡 Materials & Pipelines

• MINIMO supports Built-In, URP, and HDRP.
• The package includes prepared materials, lighting, post-processing, and pipeline setup files to help the character and demo scenes display correctly across different Unity render pipelines.

🧩 Expand with Other MINIMO Packs

• Additional MINIMO packs can add more characters, outfits, hairstyles, props, accessories, and themed character sets.
• Model-only packs can be used as NPCs, playable characters, background characters, companions, or connected to custom controllers, AI, and gameplay systems.

• Documentation is included for quick start, customization, controls, integration, materials, lighting, and troubleshooting.
