Overview

The LUT Creator Suite is a Unity Editor extension designed for generating, previewing, modifying, and exporting color lookup tables (LUTs).



To access the LUT Creator Suite in Unity, go to the menu bar and select:
Window → Orly Tools → LUT Creator Suite


The tool’s user interface is organized into two main panels:

  • Left Panel – LUT Controls and Preview:
  1. Neutral LUT Generation: 
  2. Adjustment Controls: 
  3. Export Functionality: 
  • Right Panel – Image Correction and Comparison:
  1. Drag & Drop Functionality: You can drag and drop a texture onto this panel where it checks that the texture is readable (with a user alert if not) and scales it appropriately.
  2. Real-Time Correction Preview: The panel displays a composite viewer that shows the original image alongside the corrected version. A movable divider allows you to interactively compare the before-and-after effects of your adjustments. 
  3. Capture Options: There are buttons provided to capture the active scene view or the view from a selected/game camera, enabling you to immediately apply your LUT settings to a live capture.
