The Modular Scifi Interior kit is contains 65 Environment meshes, with sound effects, animated doors, an additional 15 Decal meshes. The meshes have grid-mapped pivot points, allowing for very quick level design, along with a high-quality space environment. It currently supports Basic, HDRP and URP.
Game Ready Prefabs
The package contains fully animated doors with sound effects that open when the trigger comes in contact with the player. All mesh prefabs come with with colliders and 4 LODS.
Textures
All Meshes contain efficiently packed 4096x4096 resolution textures (3 textures for each mesh), and have also had their 2nd UV Channel manually created for lightmaps to greatly increase performance. All environment props contain a "Paint Mask" alpha channel, so that the color and roughness of the paint can be changed within the shader if you please. Three Planet textures are included, two of which are 8k in resolution.
Sound Effects
This project contains 2 door sounds, 2 ambient spaceship sounds, and 2 fan sounds
Modular Aspects and Efficiency
The modular pieces are Grid snap friendly (most to 5cm), and are to correct scale (suitable for VR).
All Modular pieces are parented to a single shader, which can be modified to produce results that span your entire level.
All Meshes include a 5cm thickness, to avoid any light-leakage during baking. The back of wall panels have had their lightmapped faces minimized to avoid wasted lightmap space, ensuring very efficient light-baking.
Note: 'Basic RP' comes with a required Global Material script
If using the Basic RP, please make sure to add the script called "Global Parameters Controller" to an empty game object in the scene in order for the materials to work correctly. This script allows you to change the global light colors for all the materials, along with a few other features, such as paint color, brightness, roughness, metallic, etc...
