The Legends of the "Small Spirits."

The Tuyul Bersaudara (Tuyul Siblings) bundle explores the diverse legends of child-like spirits found across the Indonesian archipelago. While they may appear small, each entity carries a unique legacy—from wealth-seeking tricksters to harbingers of misfortune and sickness.

The Legendary Entities:

• Tuyul (The Wealth Seeker): A prominent figure in Javanese and Malay mythology. Depicted as a bald child, the Tuyul is often bound to a master (pesugihan) to stealthily steal money from neighbors. He is the ultimate rogue for any supernatural heist.
• Janggitan (The Pond Raider): Similar in size to the Tuyul but with a different appetite. Janggitan are the bane of fish farmers, known to move in groups to raid ponds and steal the day’s catch.
• Kupuk (The White Ghost of Merauke): Originating from the legends of Muting Village, Papua, this spirit is short and covered in white powder. Though small, Kupuk is incredibly fast. Legend says colliding with one brings terrible luck, causing the victim to fall ill with mysterious bruises.
• Budak Hideung (The Black Child): A terrifying figure from Sundanese lore. This "dark child" has jet-black skin and haunts filthy, abandoned places. He speaks with a nasal voice and lures people into playing games that often result in sudden sickness.
